Psychotherapy
Whatever brought you here, there is hope. I’d love to hear from you. I am currently seeing patients in person in Oakland and virtually throughout California via telehealth.
WELCOME
MY NAME IS DR. ALISHA EASTWOOD.
Beneath the patterns you’ve outgrown, the relationships that keep disappointing, the anxiety that won’t fully go away — there’s usually something worth understanding. Something that, once seen clearly, can actually change.
Maybe you’ve accomplished everything you set out to do, but instead of satisfaction, there’s an unexpected emptiness. Maybe you’re dealing with relationship struggles, creative blocks, or questions of identity. Or you’re carrying the lingering effects of past traumas or experiences you haven’t fully made sense of yet.
Meaningful change is possible. It takes courage and the right kind of support.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
MY APPROACH
shape how you see yourself and move through the world
I practice depth-oriented psychodynamic therapy.
In our work together, we explore the unconscious patterns, relational dynamics, and attachment experiences that shape how you see yourself and move through the world.
Genuine change requires safety and trust.
My approach is warm but direct. I’ll challenge you when it matters, and I integrate cognitive and behavioral techniques when they’re useful. But the foundation is always relational and exploratory.
Therapy, at its best, is co-created. We are both active participants — thinking through the material together, letting it enliven our sessions and shape the work.
